For example, they may be service requests such as access card or car park requests, reception requests, office or pantry supply requests, courier service requests, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facility Managers can set up these custom service requests by creating and configuring request forms for each type of service request to be provided. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.facilitybot.co\/blog\/knowledge-base\/admin-web-portal\/managing-requestors\/\">Requestors <\/a>will fill in these forms to make their service requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Custom Requests Types\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zY2me1bSKGo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Create a New Custom Service Request<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Log into FacilityBot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the \u201cSettings\u201d menu from the bottom left icons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u201cRequests\u201d, making sure to be on the &#8220;Request Types&#8221;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the \u201c+New\u201d button at the far right. A floating window appears to build a request form for the new request. On the left, various components are available to place in the form, such as instructions, questions, uploads, Location Tag, and a pre-set selection of Items to Order.&nbsp;The form appears on the right as it is made. (In the video demonstration, an example Request for Season Parking is seen being made from 1:19 to 1:45.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give the custom request a name on the right of the floating window (in \u201cRequest Type Name\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add components from the left to the form on the right by clicking \u201c+ Add Instruction\u201d or \u201c+ Add Question\u201d as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modify each component by clicking the \u201cpencil\u201d icons to edit them. Delete components using the \u201cdustbin\u201d icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle the asterisk icon to make questions mandatory or non-mandatory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u201cUpdate\u201d at the bottom right of the floating window to finish creating the Custom Request and add it to the list in the main window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Modify, Delete or Duplicate an Existing Custom Request<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using the Quick Editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Select a Custom Request from the list in the main window under the \u201cRequest Types\u201d tab. The request form appears in the quick editor on the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modify the Name of the custom request, or existing components in the form by editing or deleting using the \u201cpencil\u201d or \u201cdustbin\u201d icons. Toggle mandatory\/non-mandatory status with the \u201casterisk\u201d icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u201cUpdate\u201d at the bottom right of the quick editor to save any changes, or \u201cCancel\u201d to revert any changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the \u201cDelete\u201d or \u201cDuplicate\u201d buttons at the bottom left of the quick editor to delete or duplicate the Custom Request. Duplication is useful when making a Custom Request based on an existing one with minor changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using the Form Builder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>For more comprehensive edits, click the bordered \u201cpencil\u201d icon near the top right of the quick editor to edit Advanced Settings. The form builder opens in a floating window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add components from the left to the form on the right by clicking \u201c+ Add Instruction\u201d or \u201c+ Add Question\u201d as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modify or delete each component by clicking the \u201cpencil\u201d or \u201cdustbin\u201d icons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle the asterisk icon to make questions mandatory or non-mandatory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drag and drop components to re-arrange their order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u201cUpdate\u201d at the bottom right of the form builder to finish editing and go back to the main window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Custom Service Requests are any type of requests that require a response from the Facility Manager, but are not fault reports.
