Payments Feature

Facility managers may want to receive payments from via a Custom Service Request Form or as part of Facilities Booking. Facilitybot’s Payments feature allows managers to accept payment through different payment channels, including via Credit Card and PayNow (Singapore). Managers can then view all payments received through FacilityBot.

Linking to Stripe

To receive payments, FacilityBot must be linked to Stripe. If you are new to Stripe, you need to create a Stripe account ( https://stripe.com/ ) in order to collect payments.

  • Log in to FacilityBot Web Portal.
  • Go to ‘Features’ then ‘Payments.’
  • Click on ‘Setup Stripe.’
  • You will be redirected to a new page to link Stripe to FacilityBot. Click on ‘Connect with Stripe.’
  • You will be asked to select the account you want to link. Select an account. Once done, click ‘Connect.’
  • Once completed, FacilityBot will be linked to Stripe.

Configuring Payment Types

To use this feature, managers must configure payment types to collect different amounts and through different payment channels.

  • Go to ‘Features’ then ‘Payments.’
  • Click on ‘Manage Payment Types’ on the upper right.
  • A new page will open where you can create a new payment type and view previously created payment types. Click on ‘+ New Payment Type’ to create a new payment type.
  • A floating editing panel will appear where you can enter the payment type name. Enter the amount and select the payment method using the dropdown. FacilityBot currently supports Credit Card Payment and PayNow (Singapore) through Stripe.
  • Once done, click ‘Ok’ to save the changes.
  • You can view the newly created payment type back on the list.
