Creating a New Request in the Responder Portal

Although Responders are not Requestors, Responders are also able to create Requests in the Responder Web Portal. This function is useful to Responders when Responders need to create Requests on behalf of Requestors. 

To create a new request, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the Requests section

Step 2: Click the ‘New Request’ button

Step 3: Select a Request Type

Step 4: Fill up the necessary fields. The fields will differ depending on the Request Type selected. For the `User` field, choose `Manual User` to enter the name of a new Requestor, or select from the list of previous Requestors.

Step 5: Click ‘Create’.

A ticket will be created with a Case ID, to be followed up by the relevant Responder.
